I've currently got a 165 litre tank and i've seen a really big tank for sale just over 1000 litres lol I know a crazy just but I'm really tempted jump wondered how you all convince your partners to let you get bigger tanks at the moment he's umming and arrrring lol.

I love the way you all think i'd be able to carry that size tank, sneak it in the house, carry it into my house, fill it up all without his help.

I've basically talke him around to getting a 6ft tank at the end of the year but I'm gonna have to work on him for the 1000 litre one.

If it was me and she just got it and set it up, i would just put a shell in the shotty, BOOM u can clear that

On a lighter note a 1000L tank is going to be a killa have you looked into thinks likes where it going to go and whats the floor made from is it level etc....

it would be for my front room floor is concrete so could hand it not sure what it could go on was thinking a low solid wood stand

the prospect of water changes seems daunting though lol minimum of 250 litres a week the water board will wonder whats going on lol

think i may have to pass on this one and settle on a 6ft 600 litre one at the end of the year

I had a 1000l tank once, for water changes i had a T-piece on the sump inlet with a tap and hose that went outside through the wall to a drain.

It made water changes easy
