How Often Should I Do A Water Changes

Hi Everyone,

just a quick question. just wanted to see what you think. right i have been doing for the last 8 months weekly water changes on my freshwater aquarium but i just brought this really good conditioner and on the instruction it say that i should use it every other week. do you think it would be better to do a water change every other week instead of every week? i just wondered because this conditioner is expensive and if i do it every other week it will last longer like it said it should. what do you recommend?

It depends on your stocking really. You can get away with doing a water change every other week, as long as your filtration is good and your nitrate's dont build up.
