How often do YOU do a water change?

Hi..weekly 25% with a Python and an occasional midweek 10% change if the filter needs cleaning. SH

I change about 15% every two weeks. In my experience I was loosing fish when I was doing everything by the books. I just kinda layed off everything like constant water changes and chemicals and such and I havent lost a fish in almost a year.

25% on all three tanks (2 tens and a 30) once a week (unless life is nasty, then it gets pushed longer) but I'm going to have to up the changes on the 30 since my pleco is a poopster, and I'm getting another... and then hopefully babies... I see bigger buckets in my future...

editted because I have no brain :fun:

3 tanks, all have live plants.

77 gal: Goldfish, 40% water change weekly, fluval 404

10 gal. Betta: 20% weekly, AC mini

10 gal. tropical: 30% weekly, AC 150

*edited to add filtration info

10-20% daily as my tanks are overstocked at the moment so gotta keep them healthy

Used to be once a fortnight but pumped it up to weekly for hygine. That ram and gouramis never seem to stop pooping! :p

13 tanks running now, 3x10, 6x20, 2x55, 1x29, & 1x65. Fry tanks get 50% daily, which gets cut back to 50% weekly like the rest of the tanks. Sometimes life gets busy, it gets stretched to 10 days.

25% twice a week for me :)

The benefit of only have the one tank set up is it dosn't take too much of my time :p

180litre Juwel internal filter, planted, goldfish and common plec, 40% change once a week and rinse filter media in old tank water.

180approx litre, tropical, heavily stocked, medium planted, eheim external thermal filter, clean filter media once a month in old tank water, 30% water change once a week.

125litre Juwel internal filter, tropical, heavily planted rinse filter media once a week in old tank water, 30% water change once a week.

I have a slightly overstocked (and overfiltered) 39 gallon tank that I do a 20% water change on once a week.

Between water changes I also have a groovy gizmo that sucks the poop out but doesnt remove the water ;) I do this once or twice a week depending on how messy the sand gets.
