personally i change things around everytime i claen my tank, good to have a change of senery, think the fish like it too :shifty:

Well, first of all i don't have plastic plants, so they change themselves around plenty. Sometimes though if you get a set up just right its good to keep it that way. Like if you have several breeding pairs of dwarf cichlids and you have figured out the right distance to put their breeding pots to minimize aggresion...then its kinda stupid to rearrange those. But i do agree, rearranging is nice and fun at the same time. Although some times i am more satisfied with my previous set up.

since I have live plants I have to change everytime, since the darn things never stay in place............ :grr: :S :/

Yep it is stocked, mostly with little fish so that is good..............the bottom however is ruled by the plecos!

No ottos. Never had one before.......I think I used to get them confused with chinese algae eaters, which I did have one of those, and it got really aggressive. I have been scared ever since, even though I know better now. :dunno:

what have you got in there olive, triffids???

i voted 3-6 months cos my tank is about 3 months old and i just moved things around a bit for the first time since it was established

i was hoping it would stop my red dwarf gourami being so territorial, and it did, for about 5 mins...

Last year I constantly changed it every day but now I have softened up and now I only dip my hands in there about every 3 months. -_-

I don't change things around very much. I never change y biggest tank, because I like it how it is and don't have any better ideas.

I have changed the other 2 recently

I normally don't change the ornaments around. I just change it every few months to make sure that none of the fish are hogging territories.

Almost every time I do a water change. I like mixing it up.

i haven't changed things in my tank because the rocks are important territory boundaries for my cichlids. but if i want to add any more fish, i'll shift a few about to help the newbies settle in.

I always just thin my plants... cut clippings, replant plants that were dug up by the dojos... that kinda stuff. Sometimes I reajust the ornaments if they fell over or anything. he he he... I love my dojos, but they sure are a pain to keep in a planted tank!!!

I change my tank around everytime I do a water change. My bottom feeders like a change of scenery. So does my gourami! :D
