Right guys i decided what im going to get.

10 x neon tetras
6 x Peppered corys
2 x Bristlenose pleco

And possibly 2 Dwarf Gouramis. Tank to small for an angel fish :(

Any way is this the max i can get or can i get more corys and neons??

I have a 117L tank

Yeah more, say 12-15 neons, and 8-10 cories

Dont be tempted to get two male dwarfs though

2 DG is not adviseable. 2 males and they will fight. 1F and 1M and the M may bully the F to death.

2 BN in a 117L may work, providing there are plenty of hiding spots/caves. Also try to avoid 2 males, but they are very difficult to sex when young.

otherwise I think that stocking looks good

Hey zoddy the BN are my survivors from the disaster. 1 male 1 female the other female died.

I will leave out the dwarf gouramis then.

Cheers

Cheers I like this for stocking.

7-10 cories and about 10-13 tetras, yeah leave out the gouramis

Looks like you are aiming at a 21C temp, at the low end of Neon Tetra range, so that the water is not too warm for Peppered Corydoras.

Have to say that I think after your recent tragedy, you are being very brave with choosing Neons, not exactly reknowned these days for their hardiness. Have you considered more temperate fish, like WCMM and alike, that are happy around 18C?

WCMM: White Cloud Mountain Minnow ;)

No rasboras that are happy at ~20C spring to mind, but perhaps others may have ideas on this?

The best fish I've come up with to match the Peppered besides WCMM in your tank are Bloodfin Tetra and Golden Dwarf Barbs, as both can be kept at as low as 18C.

Other alternatives that could work with a 20C setting are Checkered Barbs; Sawbwa Barbs; Celestial Pearl Danios; Black Widow Tetras.
