How Many People Were Going To Get New Fish This Weekend

Yeah figured that this weekend might be a missed stocking opportunity for quite a few of us.

I was planning a big shop wanted to get a dwarf pike and some red lizard twig cats maybe a pictus if they had a big one in as well

Just cant face it in the snow the store is an hour away in good driving conditions, it took me 4 hours to do a round route of what should have taken 20 mins normally today so its totally out of the question now till the snow goes away

Cant imagine Im the only one though

I was planning to go to the LFS this weekend, but not anymore! Although I'm not going for a different reason than you and most other people.

Today in South Australia the forecast is saying that it's going to be 41 degrees C. And Sunday and Monday are going to be 43 degrees C. I don't think I'll have a problem with the snow LOL! , but I don't want to leave the house in this heat.

Well I manage to do my 2 mile paper round on my bike in 8 inches of snow, so the LFS shouldn't be that hard for me. It's all about lowering the tyre pressure.

I was suppose to be picking up my Blue Acara this weekend, I have been waiting months to get one, luckily the nice chap I am getting it from is holding it for me. The other side, I have people waiting to collect some Ellioti from me once the snow clears.

I'll be at work in my [not so] lfs lol so i guess I'll already be there, the worst of the snow will be sunday here....the only day im working

I already tried walking to my lfs and that ended in disaster

Well, my local aquarium club is having a meeting tonight, and due to the icy roads, I won't be able to make it. We are even having a guest speeker... Oh well... I don't expect many people to even show up due to the roads. I wish they would have postponed the guest speeker.

Nevermind fish, I was meant to be having a new aquarium delivered today! The excitement is getting too much

Snow does not stop me unless I can't see throw it. We have amazing snow removel seeing that we get 200 inches a year or more. So we are ready I have snow tires and AWD. It's just clearing the snow off the car that's a pain.

Stay warm you guys.

But if the lfs was an hour away I don't think I would go in the snow. Bummer.

Well I caved and went to a different LFS for a look more than anything the roads were fine as well. Came back with a new plec a very nice 5-6 inch 124 and some red rainbows as temp dithers
