This question may sound a little odd lol so I'll explain a bit, what I mean is that when I see a larg tank it is most often filled with bigger fish such as african cichlids, common plecos, or generally bigger fish. I was just wondering how many people prefer to keep only smaller fish such as shoaling fish dawrf cichlids, corydoras etc?
Just wondering out of interest if people prefer to keep bigger fish or smaller?

"mussels" needs to show us his 6x2x2 community of small fish (he adopted my Pearls, remaining Yellowtails and some of my Golden Kuhli Loaches a couple of weekends ago). This tank of his must be like heaven for these small fish, which includes a stocking of ~25 Peal Danios and ~20 (Sterbai?) Cory amongst other groups!

I have a roma 240ltr and apart from "sparky" my blue acara everything else is barbs.

got to admit if i didnt like big cichlids so much id love to turn my 120g into a large sacle planted community tank with huge shoals of tetras , rasboras corydoras etc .when i had discus , i had 40 cardinals , then 25 rummynose those shoals looked great

I have a 55 US Gallon tank or 210L and keep all community fish in it. I think it is great to watch them all swim around in there. Funny how they will all end up on one side of the tank though.

My tank is 215L and the biggest fish I have in it at the moment are the dwarf neon raibows. I am going to get a bn when the tank is matured and then he will hold the record

My 475L is a community take with a few large-ish cichlids...

Cardinal tetras, Corys, Emperor tetras etc.....

I've got a 240l and my largest fish are Emperor tetras and a royal whiptail. I'm thinking about moving the Emperors into a different tank so I can have a bigger shoal of green neons; I've got 18 of the neons at the moment and I'd love to have a lot more (I only took the Emperors as a favour to my mum as she's over run with them; I'm not really that keen on them tbh  )

I think really big shoals of small fish in large tanks look stunning.

My 70g tank is a planted community fish tank. I prefer a lot of little fish (3inches or smaller) to a little school of larger fish.

Sounds like people like a mix lol, should of made this a poll!lol
Would be good to see some 5-6 foot planted tanks with only small shoaling fish and maybe a few smaller centrepiece fish, if anyone has a tank like this?

I have a 150 gallon and I do have 5 black angles but other than that I have all tetras I have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much room to add more fish and they will be small ones
I always joke around about having nothing but neon's in it

For me that's the way to go, right now i have a few fish, but the biggest i'll get will be a hi fin lyretail swordtail.
