How Many Caves

im in the process of getting my 4ft tank going.
ive about 10 livebearers that will be going in it soon
and i,ve looked into getting some german blue rams, but have read they need a cave to spawn in.
which i have made, but say i get 3 pairs, will i need 3 seperate caves?

first of all you cant just make them pair up

and the for the caves thats not always true

they pick there own territory to spwan so it

just all depends on the fish.

and how many gallons are you thinking of putting

them in?

The Rams need to pair up on their own Kazzie - you might even be unlucky and have a group where none pair up. Always best to get more than you need and check that the store will allow you to return the rest.

Separate caves (can make them from coconut shells, plant pots, pipes etc etc) will be required for each pair you have.
