i think 4 at the most but that might be pushing it.and you might have a problem with pairing up but im not too sure.id say 2 as a pair.

In my current 40 gallon, my mom used to keep 4 angels along with some mollies and neons. Everyone got along peacefully. Knowing the size that the angels eventually got to, I wouldn't think to add anymore.

I had 6 small angels in a 37 gallon tanks, they began to grow, 2 paired up. Now i have 2

You can get 4 small ones then once a pair is formed return the other 2.
