How Many African Dwarf Frogs

Well my frogs have a filter powerful enough for a 200L tank in their 34L tank, water two thirds full and they are as happy as larry, so yes you can use a filter, try to keep the current to a minimum as they are not great swimmers, mine is turned to face the back of the tank, they will be good, I found without a filter, the ammonia rose quickly even with only 4 frogs in a 10g tank.

no you cant use a filter dwarf frogs, you must do the water changes every two days. they have over developed swim bladders and HATE viabrations
I have never heard this before. Source, please.

I remember hearing, they don't like currents. (Probably related to truck's post)
But can't you lower the filter's water current? (Some have a little knob where you can turn it to make it slower/faster)

turning the filter down so there is less water current doesnt help. They just dont like the vibration coming from the filter.

I have an excellent filter which doesn't create vibrations in the tank or much of a current unfortunately you have to build it yourself but then just externally mount the pump and your golden:
stroke me

i can back up what truck says about vibrations, i have also heard this, not from my own experience but it makes sence
