Yet again, another one of those "How long"

So! How long would you say until my Platy drops?

And should I move her to a Breeding Net yet?

Breeders nets are not a good idea. They're far too small and cuase the mother fish to become stressed; this can even cause her to miscarry.

If you want to save fry, then add a large clump of fine leaved plant, like cabomba, elodea or Java moss to the tank for the fry to hide in.

It's probably a bit late for this time around but i have one of these and they're great. It has a removable insert which allows the fry to drop through away from the mother if she fancies a snack but stops them getting into the main tank.

I placed her in the Breeding Box as I saw her "Fluttering" and as I moved her, she started! Around 30 fry are now in the Breeding Box, and she is well on the road to recovery!

Hey, congrats! My last platy that was huge like that, went skits and jumped outta the tank so i lost everything aww.
