lol sounds a mouthfull, but il be working on two strains with the hope of eventualy combining them to produce a marble, Black Orchid, Half Sun, PlaKat.

What's the orchid coloration look like?

If you can get them to turn out the way you want, sounds like it would be a pretty awesome looking betta though if what I'm thinking is accurate heh

black orchid is like a glossy black usualy with a coloured lacing thru it.

my pairs are as follows:

BOVT X melano PK... hope to produce BOPK from that. the VT is bred from PK so should produce plenty pks.

blue/green marble HM X red/blue marble PK... hope to produce some marble HMPK.

blue/redCT X blue marble delta... hope to produce some marble CT from that.

blue PK X blue PK... well..um.. blue PK mabey?



then il pair:

BOPK X marble HMPK to produce a (hopefuly) marble BOHMPK

marble CT X blue PK to produce a blue marble CTPK

then cross BOHMPK X CTPK and hopefuly have a line of BOHSPK to work on
