How does one go about growing plant grass seeds ?

This is why the soil people recommend dry starting. Others can explain it, I've never done it as I won't use soil with fish.

As I understand it, the dry start method does not have water in the tank initially, hence the "dry" aspect. As I said, I have never done this as soil to me is just more problems for no beenefit. But members who may have done this should be able to advise on the process.
