I note from some peoples posts, that in the summer, when the weather is warmer they dont have the heater on their tanks. Some also dont have filtration running but do water changes every couple of days.

So what sort of temp ranges can they withstand? I currently have 7 male betas in 3 tanks ( 3 are free swimming, 4 in Betta Boxes). I know then i got into LFS's they have them in seperate containers on the top of tanks or on shelves. But surely in the long run this aint good for them?

Cheers

sorry just reread your post and see you have 3 in 3 tanks and the rest in betta boxes.I have my betta tanks setup at 78deg with heaters but once the summer comes i will just keep an eye on the room temperature and tank temperature if it starts to get too high i will switch the heaters off if it gets lower than low 70s i will put them back on
