I seem addicted to polls recently. Especially useless polls.
I think I've posted about this before, but can't find the topic.
Right now I feed sinking pellets twice a day. It literally takes under 5 seconds to clean up. When I try feeding more, the fish's stomachs become all distended, especially the neon tetras, and it doesn't seem healthy. But as it is, the fish that aren't paying attention don't get any food, sometimes for several days in a row. My amano shrimp also don't get anything, as there is nothing to scavenge. I think they are surviving on feces only right now
Whenever someone walks by, they all crowd in the corner of the tank, as if begging for food. Whenever I take some water for testing, they totally flip out. (I soak the pellets before feeding) I feel like they are constantly hungry, although it may just be me

Anyways, how do you feed your tanks? I want to get a better idea.

Once a day - usually some flakes for the top feeders and some sinking pellets for my Bala and plecs. Bloodworms once a week, a few algae wafers every few days, and veggies a couple of times a week as well :)

I feed flake, twice a day and for a treat, some bloodworms !

They finish all the food in definitely under 30 seconds !

I feed flake twice a day and bloodworms/tubifex worms/brine shrimp in place of one of the flakes at least twice a week. I drop in 2 algae wafers every other day.

Since some of my fish are slower eating and some are small I slightly crush half the flake and put half on the water and put the other half in front of the outflowing water coming from the filter. It usually gives the slower/timid guys a chance to eat while the hogs eat up top.

I just give my fish a feed once a day and it usually only takes a couple of mins to finish.
I give a we bit of flake and cat pellets and a bloodworm cube halved every evening.
Sometimes I stick in some veg if were having some, or if there really lucky, I'll give them a worm from the garden if iv been doing some gardening. They love worm, has to be chopped up though :D

cba with the poll, but i feed once a day and i don't sit on my #14### watching to make sure they finish it all.

twice a day, flake and catfish pellets in morning and a mixture of frozen food or dried tubiflex on an evening. Flake is gone in less than a minute but catfish pellets take longer and so does the evening meal as I add a bit at a time

Once a day, and the food is gone in about 15 seconds!!

My fish are greedy and fast eaters so put some prima in a small pot of tank water and suck it up into a syringe, then spray it back into the tank so all the fish get a chance to get some, the food is gone before it even gets a chance to hit the substrate! (quite cool watching the food vanish so quickly)

I drop in an algae wafer twice a week to make sure the Corrys get some food but even then the BN plec finds his way to the wafer so I feel a bit sorry for the corrys but they must get enough food as they have been in my tank from the very start!

Once a day and a different food pretty much everyday between flake, dried bloodworm, frozen bloodworm, etc, pellets, etc. Oh along with veggies as/when with one starvation day per week.
Hence with such variety hopefully all my fish get some food at some point!!

Pinch of flake once a day, which is finished within 30 seconds and replace the flake with bloodworm on either a Sat or Sun. Occasional algae wafer for shrimps.

i feed flake as a staple like once a day maybe twice somedays. then one the days i dont feed flake twice ive got frozen bloodworm, frozen sea fleas. also got algea wafers, cat fish pellets for the bottom dwellers(shrimp, catfish and snails)then i rotate live food, once maybe twice a week depends if im passing one of the LFS that sell live food. live sea fleas, bloodworms or brine shrimp

my fish go mad for live food
