How do I support the forum?

if you want to become a "supporting member" for $12.00 for a year's membership, just click on the link in my avatar area and choose whether to pay by credit card or paypal. The admin has decided to stop having ads on our forum so this is the main way the expenses of TFF get paid. I like to think we have the most friendly and helpful fish related forum on the internet. Thanks for wanting to support our forums.

Do I need to have a PayPal account to donate?

Hope you find value in being a member of TFF. The forum is ad-free for all registered members. But the forum has costs for the software and the storage space. Not having ads means that other ways of raising money are needed.

If you would like to help support the forum and don't have a Paypal account, you can check out as a guest and then add your credit card information during check out. Your credit card information will be kept safe. We hope you find value in using the forums and would consider becoming a supporting member.
This forum has been really beneficial and helpful in the few years I've been on it. I'd be glad to support it

Sign up, folks! Forums like this are dying out, as other platforms become more popular, and because it's expensive for the admin to keep them online and store all this valuable info and knowledge! But it's super cheap for an individual to become a supporting member! Only a few bucks per year! But the more people that can show some financial support, the more likely we can keep sharing and learning from each other here.
For less than the cost of going to see a film at the cinema, you can help keep this forum going. The things I've learned here and friends made are priceless, so a few bucks is absolutely worth it.
