How Can You Take Pictures Of Fish Without Them Swimming Away?

Well as the title says really, i need to take some pics but whenever i put the cam to the glass they swim off and if i zoom in i cant get a good enough shot. I really need some help, thanks.

If you sit there long enough with the camera roughly in focus they'll eventually line up for a shot (hopefully).

Depending on the type of camera you have and amount of light available it's generally best to try to move the camera along with the fish at the same speed to prevent blurring.

About the Gravid Spot, if you look very closely you can see a black dot? is that it?

you might try video then capture your pic from that. Most digital cameras will do that then you can just set it up there and walk away.
