i got tank just like that........£36 inc heater n undergravel filter i cut up a sponge and put a peice in the pipe which calms down the outflow to a nice calm trickle,,, and it seems gr8 my 1 loves it........ http/public.fotki.com/nellyc/my_fish_shots/image086.html this pic was taken a while ago............now its changed as u can see to your left

Hi nelly Nice idea with the sponge! i have a spraybar on mine & face it upwards so it does'nt make much flow. I also keep mine in the kitchen it looks good!!

mine is also in kitchen..gr8 minds..........i used the other idea.........didnt want spray bar got the 1 coming straight up with that flat peice on top

The flow dips just under the cover its close though!! might try the sponge trick good idea!!!

you will find u may need a few atemps to get flow right.........3 times for me
