Horrible dream :(

I had this horrible dream last night that one of my bettas was completely finless due to an extreme case of fin rot. And then I tried to breed him with this psychotic female who was trying to break the glass in the tank.

I have dreams pretty much once every couple of weeks in which some huge predatory fish (usually a large catfish, oscar, great white shark, etc...!) "magically appears" in my tank, full grown, and eats all my little fishes, and there's loads of fighting and chaos with everything getting thrown around in the tank, then at the end all that's left is one panda cory, grazing...


I am considering getting professional help.

The worst fish dream I ever had was that fish were trying to take over the world, and people were fighting against them but I forget how. The fish were melting the icecaps somehow and Maryland and a bunch of lower states were underwater.

Yeay I'm not the only one dreaming weird fish things!! I've only had my baby for 2 weeks now and I've had 2 nightmares already about him!!

The first dream was that I added scalding hot water to his bowl and he died and his mouth fell off and I was crying and I tried to but his mouth back on (strangely enough though, two days later I did add luke-warm water to his tank to treat this ich)

The second was a few days ago and in it I went over to his bowl to say hello and he had dropsy and all his scales were sticking out, I started to cry

But yeah.. they were very unnerving and I was VERY happy to wake up and know my baby was ok and swimming around with only ich!

A couple of months ago I dreamt that there was a cute little betta in a tank. I went to grab him with my hand and he wrapped his mouth around my finger. So in order to get him off i took hold of him and tried to pull him off. This little betta was so stubborn he wouldn't let go. I held his body a little tighter and pulled downward to get him off. Now here's the gross part, the skin on his body came off leaving his innards still hanging on to my finger. It was so disgusting and slimy! Sort of like when you slide the skin off of a grape.

Wow, you guys make me feel normal. My fish dreams usually just involve me cleaning tank after tank in a neverending cycle. Betta bowls start appearing everywhere around my room, and I just keep cleaning them one after another until I wake up.
Hmm... sounds kinda like real life.

Wow, a betta that can break the glass of the aquarium... I want that betta, but I'd need to build me a 2" fiberglass tank.

I have had so many betta dreams I had one where my brother bought these weird dragon/snake like fish and he puts them in my fish room and they start eating the bettas. I hit them on the heads with nets and they drop the fish and start hissing at me So i call my mom to tell her to tell my brother to get his fish out and she says it's so great that he found a hobby.

I have a lot where I'll be doing water changes and random fish will be swimming around in the air, someone will have filled my tanks with gravel so there's only two inches of water, someone put them together, all kinds of weird stuff.

I had one where this kid (who in my dream was Juli's brother) dumped all my fish on the floor at a hotel and Julie laughs at me while I try to pick them up

Two years ago I had a betta who jumped out of his tank, but I couldn't find him, a week or so later I was in the shower and my son who was 18 months threw in this black thing, I picked it up and realized it was a dried up betta. I still to this day have dried up bettas show up in random places in my dreams. Sometimes I'll be vaccuming up an entire floor covered with them, other times there will just be one in a cup holder in the car or something. They show up quite a bit though.
