I have had my honey gourmi for around a year now, and it has been in my 100L tank with neon tetras, amano shrimp and khuli loach. A couple of weeks ago I bought a trio of guppies, which the gourami paid no attention to. However I got 2 panda corys and 3 skunk corys yesterday, and the gourami is for some reason actively seeking them out and attacking them. I've got him in a breeder net at the moment.

Is there anything I can do? I don't understand why he's docile with other fish but attacks the corys, does he see them as some sort of threat?

Let him back out for a minute today and the first thing he did was go after the corys. I've asked my lfs but they say they can't take him :(

maybe you could try rearranging the tank.. i hear that works for some people.

Thanks for the move Oldman.

I would re-arrange the tank but to be honest I dont think it will make much difference, plus its a heavily planted tank so it would literally take me all day.

I've put him in the classified section of the forums, free to a good home. http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/322850-free-honey-gourami/
