Not quite a production line, i have a tank in my garden that was heading for the tip and with the weather etc i just hadn't got round to it.

Well after all the rain it now has a good 4 inch of water in it and loads of mossie/midge larvae and some sort of larvae that could be blackworms, looks like it? in there too. Loads of em.

What do you think about chucking a few in my tank as a treat for the fish?

yes sounds good, my fish eats whatever is put in there and love live food! :)

go for it. i would put them in some fresh water first just to give them a bit of a wash but they should be fine and free :good:

Oh wow, i have neve and i mean never seen the fish go that mad for food. Honestly if i had put the cover on before looking in the tank i would have seen nothing.

Those harlequins had the lot, prob 40-50 larvae gone sub 5 seconds from hitting the water. Should be better for the fish though eh
