Well I did my local rounds of LFS today. Went to the fridge in one shop to get live blood worm, when the dafnia (sp) caught my eyes. something black was swimming in the bag to. So I picked it up and had a good look, put it down and walked off to look at the fish........................ I felt quilt creeping up my spine so I went back to get the bag.

Here's a pic of the bag and the hitchhiker tadpole.

Excellent! Tadpoles are cool.

I've had a couple of sticklebacks in a bag of daphnia in the past, and a big, fat leech in a bag of rivershrimp.

Yes there is no mistake it's a tadpole. Whether it's a frog or a toad is a different matter Doubt its a newt, but if it was that would be cool.

paige i will be keeping him until i can release it back into the wild.

I'd have to be setting up a tank for the tadpole

with a frog tank to follow
