Hi,

Considering starting a Saltwater Reef tank over the past few days. One of the things that is intresting me the most is the hitch hikers that come in live rock and sand. Among many of my burning questions, I was just curious if anyone has ever had a chiton hitch hike, if not is there anywhere they are available for purchase/ have you ever seen them available for purchase? Also, any additional information of the sheer amount of diffrent hitch hiking species and their respective live rock locations. Another question I have is if their are any species of brisstleworm that are not harmful to a reef environmnet and its inhabitants.

Sorry to be a bother and thankyou.

Agreed, most bristleworms are just fine for your tank. Only the fireworms are bad, and those typically only come one carribean LR which is very scarce nowadays in the hobby.

As for Chitons, my tank is littered with them...:)
