Hia all,

I have had my fish tank anout 4 months. Never kept fish till i moved in with my partner (Bluetooth).
I have a Jewel rekord 60 with sone pretty fish in it :fun:

My Fish :-

1x Betta splenden (Fred the fighter is a half moon)
1x Honey gourami (George)
1x Baby Blue turq Discus (Dave)
4x Albino Cory's
4x Panda Cory's
2x Black venezuelan Cory's
3x Pelatus Cory's

Im still learning alot and get frustrated but iv loved keeping my fish (and yes i have named them all :hyper: ).

I have decided that my fav's are Fred (fighter) & Dave (Discus) but i am also collecting Cory's.

Hope you can all help me to keep my fish alive :lol:

Hi & Welcome :).

Sorry to say but your tank is overstocked and the discus shouldn't be..... 1. kept on his own, 2. kept in such a small tank.

I thought i would give you a heads up before the real stocking bash lash begins :p

Welcome to TFF

You seem familier... i wonder why :p

@Jake

The discus is 1" in length and is going to be moving to my 200L tank to be with my 2 red turqs (why its listed in my tank) and along with a new checkerboard i have coming soon.

Also the tank is being overfiltered with a fluval U2.

Oh and her peppereds are currently helping battle algae in my angel breeding tank :)

@Jake

Not sure what that means??

I understand what your saying with the discus been small but they still should be kept in groups even at a young age, you keep discus so im presuming you know the bigger the group, the better to even out any sort of aggression,. They require (when young) plenty of water changes and extreamly clean water, the U2 filter wont be over filtering the tank, it will be suficient for a normal stocked tank but far from over filtered.

Peppered cory's, well all cory's should be kept in larger groups, they also dont eat that much algae and shouldnt really be kept for that purpose. I presume your feeding them a sufficient diet aswell?.
