 Don't ask AdeyC, he only knows where the pub is :p

Mac. Sounds like you need a lot of work, looking for fish to fill 22 tanks. Take it you've got a fish hut or room somewhere then :)
Just got another 7 tanks yesterday, sounds like I'd better start building my fish hut.

Great Lakes :- I live in the Highlands so any info just ask :)
Davey R :- I partitioned off the back of the garage and made a room 12ft x 6ft for the tanks. I'll have to replace the inside roof soon though 'cos the plasterboard has soaked up the condensation. (Major Job!) I think I'll use polystyrene and hope it'll be OK. Mac. :)

Life in the Highlands, I remember it well. I'm just glad I left when I did  All that fresh air and country side, it's not good for you y'know. ;)
Lets see if I can remember. Beauly, Kiltarlity, Muir of Ord,Culloden but mostly Nairn. Then I moved to Inverness and got itchy feet so have been about a bit. Ended up in Glasgow about 6/7 years ago after a 2years in Falkirk.

Pop over to Belfast if you get the chance :) Americans seem quite interested in life over here :D . I have always been told it is a great place for a holiday and there are some super sights here- marble arch caves , giants causeway etc not to mention some very artistic murals on the walls :D

Been there. As well as the intersting wall paintings, they have some very intersting pubs. :D full of wonderful people.
just send me a cheque William ;)

Wife and I aren't the kind to go somewhere and be enthralled by all the tourist traps that gouge you for all your cash. We like to go and see all the "natives" so to speak.
We will probably just rent a car and head out to drive around and admire the beauty of nature. Except we are excited at the thought of a castle or two. The oldest house in our town is probably a 125 years old, an infant compared to what can be found in your neck of the woods to be sure. As far as the pubs go. Don't you have those old inns over there that you can stay at and get meals and whatnot for a fair price? That is the kind of trip We would like to make.

GL. Go to Perth, and rent a car, it's central to everything, so from there you can go all over the counrty in a few hours, or do a moving about holliday.
Yes the inn's are good for grub n stuff, plus cheap. :)

Mac. I intend on a 10x12 fish hut, with polystyrene as insulation. 8)

AdeyC. Falkirk, where abouts?

WIlliam, never been over there, but yes sounds good, goods beer too :p

Davy.
Oswald street. just behind the Polish club. used to work for Sun computers in Linlithgow. my local was the Callander Arms (ended up with a part time job in the place. Although there are or were a few good drinking holes. I remember a little place across from the bank of scotland with a real atmosphere. ;) the type you could cut with a knife ;)
