Hi every one. Im new to this forum. have been a keeper of tropical fish for some time now.

1 x silver shark
2 x betta female
1 x pimelodus pictus
1 x talking catfish
1 x upside down cat fish
5x leopard danios
1x tiger plec

Hi I have 1 x 65 gallon tank and 1 x 40 gallon tank.

i have a 15 gal with 5 guppies and 5 cardinal tetras
3 gal with 4 female betta/fighter fish (moving to the 15 soon)
2.5 gal male betta/fighter fish
2 gal 1 pregnant guppy
1 gal guppy fry

the reason i asked was the "silver shark" also known as a bala shark HERES some info on them to save me typing more

Yeah i know that they grow "BIG" but by that time i will have a large tank setup in the loft. Some realy nice pics in that link.

Yeah thanks for the tip. I always do my home work on all the fish that im going to buy.just incase that i do get a "BIG SHOCK" LOL
Glad to see that every one is so helpfull.

Fancy getting new fish soon but i dont know what one anything you can think i should get?

Glad to here you do your homework, thats where most poeple fail
are the bettas together? most people reccomend you keep at leats 4 rather than 2 to avoid the aggression
and whats the stocking of each tank? and which do you want more for?

I keep the bettas one in each tank.I find that it adds colour to the tank. first tank has 1 x betta 5 x danios 1x talking cat fish 1 x upside down catfish.
other tank has 1 x betta 1 x pictus catfish 1 x siver shark 1 x tiger pleco. so im looking for fish for both tanks as they have room.

might be hard with having a betta in each tank as it rules out alot of colourful fish, but as they are females you may get away with something like tetras who are quick enough to get away from them

I only keep a male betta. It's got it's own tank after the minnow incident. But I plan on getting another. Good to see another betta fan, though. Oh and BTW
