Hey Sue... We Have Eggs!

Sorry for the double posts
That is twice now.

Here is an even better one...

I caught them flirting today and started looking. I found 62 eggs. I don't know if all of them were from today, but I know a lot of them were.
These are from the long fin albinos! I haven't even done their water change yet. I guess they are just really happy, because I haven't done anything to get them to do this. They are just doing it. There were eggs on the glass, in the plants, and on the top in the floating plants. They were everywhere! :yahoo: :yahoo:
I can't wait to see how many make it. All of the eggs look pretty good. I have them just stuck in the bag hanging in the tank in front of the filter for now. That makes them easy to move while I chang the tank. I will probably leave them in the bag until they hatch. Then I will let them out in the tank with the others.

This is really long. Sorry.

Is it possible to save eggs once they start to get fungus? It is killing me. My long fin eggs are getting fungus even with me using meds. I don't understand why they got fungus. I have never gotten fungus before using the little bag like I had them in. I was very careful with them. I am extremely confused. Now I have to figure out what went wrong.
Could it be due to the snails that have invaded the tank?

Thanks
:friends:

Could it be that the Cories are still too young, and the eggs are not fertile.

I have no idea. They looked fertile. The color in the pics was the real color. Will they get that dark without being fertilized?

Try methelyne blue. If i remeber right, it kills fungus and prevents it on eggs. CONGRATS ON ALL THE BABIES THEY ARE CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. They are all over the place too. They are extremely active.
I have not seen methelyne blue anywhere. Is that what is in quick cure? That is blue.

Thank you :good:
