Hey Big Update

Oo so like Petco except with some value. I see I was thinking of Maidenfan and thought that he was getting his supplies from her.

erm no where near like petco arnt they crappy stores? the on i go to is brilliant never seen a dead fish in a tank

I work at a maidenhead aquatics and i can tell you that no way should you be able to find a dead fish. the way it works is all tanks have to be checked at least once an hour where i work we aim for one every half hour a full tank syphon once on things like guppies and i think its every other day for stuff like oscars or the puffers cos they so damn messy times a week and a full tank algae scrub at lease twice a week wich is ok on the small tanks but when your fending off a big over grown hungry oscar or simalar and scrubbing at the same time not so fun lol. All that from working Saturdays lol madness but all the people who get employed have to be fish mad its sort of in the job description

most maidenheads are meant to be really good fish shops, but some have a baddish rep., not as bad as petco or petsathome though

usualy bad reps come from one person who visited the store once and was told advice they didnt want to hear or realised how much fish stuff costs.

Ugh, dont get me started on Petco. The only things they do well is sell cheap tanks and crickets.

Yeah there are a couple of stores like that luckily not the one near me the manager there has a bit of a self admitted rep of being tough to work with but tbh i like him ie has really turned the store around in 2 years from what it was

imo if it takes someone to be a as strict as a lieutenant then they frikin should be. This is animals lives we are talking about not some piles of money that are alive
