He's Dead :(

My V.T. betta has just died and I want to figure out what I did wrong.

He's in a 2.5 U.S. gallon tank that was at 26 degrees when i found him dead (Maximum 4 hours after)

Stats: Ammonia-0
Nitrite-0
Ph-7.8 or 8.1....but i tested a week ago and it was only 7.4. Could this Ph spike have killed him?!

I took a good look at him and he showed no signs or deseises..

Any ideas?!

oh no, sorry not sure why, he could have been older than you thought? What about nitrates?

age, internal illness you couldnt see, or he just got the call from the great pond in the sky!

I only had him a few weeks...that's the weird thing..

And zoekin...I'm not sure about the litrate cuz my test kit doesn't do nitrate..

You should get a proper test kit that does PH, Nitrite, Nitrate and Ammonia. If poss KH/GH also.
