They usually take a while to get some color - I know it takes mine about a week to start showing some color and then they just keep getting better. I'm sure they'll grow up to be colorful little guys!

Not alot of colour has come through yet, mostly black. There's one or two starting to show a little orange, but they wouldn't keep still for a side shot to show the colour and unfortunately that container has opaque sides!
Quick question, while I'm here about sexing them. From quite early on I'm pretty sure I could see the gavid spot on some. This has become really noticeable in the last couple of weeks. Should I seperate them now just in case? I don't want to get overrun with fry and intend to keep all new fry seperated by sex as they get old enough to tell them apart. At what age will they start to reproduce?
