I love the black sand I was debating between black and white sand but I think I'm gunna go with black. It looks great in your tank and I've heard it's easier to clean (Doesnt show the mess as bad as white lol)

thanks for all of your comments.yeah im gonna add a few pebbles soon.im having a few water issues atm.last sunday i added the new gravel all at once.2 days ago i noticed a spike in the nitrite.i have run out of the ammonia test bottle so waiting for it to arrive.im using api liquid btw.so wednesday morning it came up at 0.25 nitrite.i done a 60% water change.yesterday i received my new external filter.i put the sponges from my internal into it.after i got it running i tested the water and it was at 0.25 again,so i done another 60% waterchange.i tested it this morning and it was a little purple but not quite 0.25,so i done another water change.hopefully it wont last

well tested this morning and its at 0.25 again.looks like another water change.i never fed them yesterday.should i not feed them today either?
