Hello all,

Danny kindly invited me over to this board, looks good and I see a lot of names I recognize from other boards. I usually use the handle 'Poseidon' but someone has already taken it here on this board. My new handle is an an obscure Tolkienian reference and kind of has a fishy ring to it. :D I'll usually be posting on the African board as I have 5 tanks full of Aulonocara.

Hey Finarfin,
Here is a name u should recognize.........welcome to the board and hope you come by often!!!

Hi Gaz,
Nope, it's a German Red, very similar and hard to tell apart even with a photo bigger than a postage stamp. :D I've got two breeding groups of two different strains of German Reds, plus three tanks full of fry. Do you keep Peacocks?

Oops, forgot to log in. That be me immediately above. :D

Guess I should have been able to answer that, eh Finarfin :p :p :D

If memory serves, I believe it was Danny and myself who helped you ID those when you first got them...

That would have been a while ago on a board long since past (for me anyways)

Hi Finarfin,

I keep some peacocks, as well as other malawi fish. I have Aulonocara Maylandi (1 male), Aulonocara Habeaschi (1 female) did have pair but the male died suddenly, Aulonocara rubins red (3 females) (4 males). Lovely fish when they mature, mine are still young and not fully coloured up.

Just to state also that the fish are dotted around a number of tanks to avoid cross breeding. ;)
