I love it when plants go crazy. This Amazon sword plant arrived Nov 30th. So, it has produced two new leaves plus the flower spike and today another leaf. Remember this plant is in gravel with no fertilizers.

A few pest snails have shown up, so I have made a snail trap, two algae discs in a piece of cotton, we will see what we catch overnight.

Overnight the first of the Blue Hygrophila broke through the surface. This plant has grown about 350mm in 3 weeks. I will let it grow up and see if it won't flower.

They are those horrible tiny translucent ones, which are just a pest. They only grow to about 4-5mm.
Are they like little sideways Rams...?

Yep, that is them. They are a pain in the butt, don't know what they are called, apart from "Pain in the butt snails"

I went outside last night to see if I could catch some white clouds for the tank, I managed to get four, this morning they are spawning. It will be interesting if I get any fry soon.
Tanks looking really good. When are you planning on adding more live stock? Discus still in your thoughts

Yep, I have white clouds in a couple of ponds. But catching them isn't easy.

A couple of up dates the Hygrophila Difformis ( Wisteria) is now producing submerged leaves, which is really cool. Also the Cardamine has decided to leave the tank along with the Hygrophila Siamensis
