Seeing as you asked so nicely don't expect to much though, i've neglected this for a bit.
What with the new tank, things being stupidly busy at work & planning a new garden layout this year
(we moved 18 months ago & i had to sit on my hands all last summer, incase anything good grew.It didn't, so blank canvas), this has taken a back seat.
Had a recurring battle with BBA for ages, which i'm pretty sure is down to the low CO2, plus the amount of Vallis at the back just attracted mulm constantly. The internal filter can't handle it.
When i get a chance, going to replace the Vallis with
Limnophila Sessiflora with
C.Balansae &
Aponogetons,
dose Easycarbo couple of times a week and put an EX1200 on it.
On a positive note, the fish are always good to watch, the orange of the Hengeli's & the male silvertips is really vivid. The Rummys schoal up & down the front all the time.
The activity of the fish is definitely the best thing about the tank ATM which is something i tend to forget when i spend too much time worrying about the plants.
edit:and yes i know i have to clean the algae off the back wall
