The store will tell you which one is best, i think its 2 you need, try the salt as you can use it with swim bladder, good luck.

It might be a swim bladder problem, I really don't know, but I would say that it is likely to be caused by a build up of ammonia or nitrite if you have a new tank. Have you read up on cycling and done lots of water changes?

One tablespoon to 5 gal of salt.

I just did a water change. If the tank was set up two days ago, then you could say they are being done every 2 days. Is that not enough?

If it is a build up of nitrites and/or ammonia salt might not help very much. Maybe somebody else could help a bit more than me I don't know much about fish diseases.

Ahh didnt see your post sorry. I can't tell you whether its enough or not. I would have thought it would be ok, but a filter - even a small box or sponge job - would really help.

Yea. I'm waiting for the filter I ordered to arrive.

It's a 20g sponge filter. Got it off ebay for 8 bucks. I hope it comes soon, but I don't know how long shipping takes.

Yea I did, he refused to eat it. Plus the pea wouldn't float so he didn't get much of a chance, since he wouldn't come near when I held the pea bits in the water. maybe he will be able to work it out? I use some salt salt in his water yesterday, I don't know if it will work since the website said you have to use epson salt for constipation.
