We had 2 netherland dwarf rabbits, however 1 died suddenly at 3 years old for no apparent reason. we took our surviving one to the vets and they said hw was fine. So 2 keep the kids happy we got another dwarf rabbit to keep our current one company however, she is not litter trained! Does anyone know how to litter train a 3 year old rabbit?

I brought my Dwarf Netherland inbside permenently when she was 8 and she litter trained just fine, but she was kinda different. Her when we kept her outside we never really got her out to play. She didn't feel comfortable going potty outside of her cage indoors. To teach her to use a litter in her cage I put her scent in it, and put it over the spot where she peed, and voala, she never really whet any other part of her cage. After a while she became confident enough to pee on the carpet. When she did that I told her no and put her back in her cage (Where she is allowed to go potty). I clead her mess. I knowtised she she liked whetting flees, so I cept that out of her reach. I hope this helps. Good luck with litter training you new bunny. I'm sorry you lost you other one :-(.

 I've heard that that works with cats, you just put the litter box down where they normally pee/poop and they use it
