I have a 5 gallon tank that has 3 mollies, and 6 molly fry, in it. The fry are in the breeding trap still, but 2 of my mollies may have ick. I can see spots on their fins but not their bodies.... I don't know if it is Ick or not as i cannot see any other white spots on their bodies

Should i relocate my fry to my 10 gallon, to ensure their life? What would you do???

Thanks
Jason

If you're going to treat the White Spot then I def think you should seperate them as Fry cannot tolerate medication as well as adult fish can and you obviously don't want to lose them.

When my Platy had White Spot she only had spots on her fins too and none on her body.

I treated with King British White Spot Control which worked well but you have to be patient because there aren't immediate results and you have to continue treating for a little while after the spots have cleared.

is there any chance that the fry have it to and when i move them to the 10 gal. will they infect that tank???

Um, I don't know much at all and am still fighting ick, but I have tetras and platty fry in a 10 gal. They all have ick, and I used salt and higher temp at first, then the next day I tried Rid Ick. I think I may have lost a few of the babies, but I still had the stronger survive, and Rid ick is better for them since its not so harse, it won't hurt the tetras. I didn't have a breeder trap though, they may have been eaten instead of killed by meds, but yes the babies get it too in my case. But if you're brave enough to maybe lose a few, try the rid ick. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I still have half of the babies, and again, they where just in tank with mom and other fish, so may have been eaten or died off. In my experiences, most fry die off, simple because "the strongest survive" rule applies with them, that and I wasn't expecting to have babies so I wasn't really prepared to take care of them. lol

Good luck.

there is a ich med called maracide that is gentle enough to use with corys and it was recommended to me when i had the same problem. i treated with salt and everything turned out ok but you could also try the maracide. it might be a good idea to treat the fry because they could be carryig it too.
