Can anyone please help?
I have got a 225 litre marine tank that has been running absolutely fine since November 2005. In the last month I have lost 1 power blue tang, 1 powder brown tang, 1 cleaner wrasse, 1 half black angel, 3 fire shrimps and am about to loose 1 lemon peel angel and 2 clown fish.
Symptons are scales go blotchy, stop eating, fins go tatty, get stressed, die.
I check my water regularly and change 10% a week. All the levels are normal except for a drop in Magnesium which has been gradually brought back up using a buffer. Also my Alkaline level dropped which was also brought up with a buffer.
Everything else in the tank seems to be fine but it seemed to be fine as these fish went from healthy to dead inside 2-3 days.
Any suggestions and help would be much appreciated.
