what would you use to deworm them?

Im thinking that it is gill flukes they have

I found gill flukes relatively easy to diagnose, I had it once, arrived with some wild cories. The gill covers were flared (extended), and the gills were very red and noticeable (not normal to see this).

Prazipro. I don't like the shape / belly of the dead fish.
we do not have prazipro were I live, I'm thinking about ordering Kordon Ich attack as a replacement. It says it uses more natural ingredients which makes it safe for scaleless fish and invertebrates and can also treat parasites

Their gills are not very red

but they are more lethargic and are breathing more heavily than usual. I'm thinking is most likely some type of worm/parasite inside of them.

They are not showing many external symptoms from what I can see.

Uhhh but that isn't a dewormer to me.

It was the only thing I found that was safe for scaleless fish invertebrates I have black Neo's in the tank as will

I was looking at general cure but we do not have that in our area as will

the other options I have are

Mardel parashield

maracyn

pimafix

melafix

kordon malachite green

kordon methylene blue

I worry that these two might cause issues with the invertebrates and corydoras.

Kordon Ich Attack
and
Nox-ich

out of these which do you think will be the best option

Thanks for the help:)

None for internal parasites / worms. Sorry !

I agree with @DoubleDutch here on the likely issue. Also, none of the ich remedies are going to help, but they will almost without question make things worse because any medication has the ability to negatively impact the fish, causing stress at the very least--but stress is the reason for about 90% of dis3ase in aquarium fish so it is well worth avoiding more.

I will look at Lfs to see if they have any other medications.

But for now what do you think I should do with the fish, the aquarium is still heated to 86 Fahrenheit should I turn the temp down? I do have aquarium salt but I’m not sure if that will do any good for them.

Thanks for your help! 🙂

I have very little direct experience with fish disease so I let those who have more help others. Most of us (I know I used to, until I learned how harmful it was) want to dump "x" into the tank to help the fish but this can further stress and even directly kill the fish if it is the wrong "x".

I take it it has been 10 days of raised temperature (?)...are the other fish flashing as much or at all? If not, I would lower the heat.

Yes your right it has been 10 days with the temperature raised, the 3 cories are still flashing as of today.

If you scroll to post #16 I have uploaded a video of one of the cories flashing the video is in the blue link titled “cories flashing”

Ah, missed the video earlier. That is flashing...but the red gill area suggests possibly gill flukes. Water issues (ammonia/nitrite/nitrate) can be behind this too. I would wait for one of the more qualified members to comment... @DoubleDutch or @Colin_T come to mind.
