Help my sand poisoned my fish

The otos seem okay. That was the smallest one that died. My rummynose I am worried about but they are alive so that's good

'The weakest will pass, the strongest will survive' that's what my mom says. If they live, give them chance to recover.

It if was my tank I would toss it and put back the old gravel. It doesn’t matter how well you wash it if it’s mixed with harmful stuff. Hope your fish recover from this

Okay guys. My tank is up and the fish are in! My 2 remaining snails and 5 Otos and my rummynose are all in. The rummynose gained their color back in only 2 hours of them being added back to the tank.

Hope so! I needed the plants in they had been floating for over a week in a bucket so had to do it fast lol. Everyone seems healthy. The tetras are actually more active than previously, I'm not sure if that's to do with the new background or something else

I would think the new set and background. When I set up my sunken forest tank my tetras acted different at first too. My glow light like to school in the middle of the tank now instead of the right side of the tank but the ember still like to stay in the anacharis forest.
