Quikrete is what I picked up at FleetFarm. I have not used it yet in my aquarium but it looks good and has play sand written on it.
This one had play sand written as well. Really frustrated right now. I am in too much pain to be dealing with this stupid sand right now!

It's ok... ahhhhhh I'm so mad at myself right now
Don't be, we all make mistakes. Cheer up. I've poisoned my all fish with medication once and most of them died, my two swordtail females have also survived with couple of some other guppies.

Well the thing is I have no way of getting more rummynose if mine die because the store I bought them from is 3 hours away from my house. I already have a smaller shoal than I should and it is incredibly expensive to ship them from online stores. I cant let them die. I was so happy that they were so healthy and then I had to go put the stupid sand in because they were out of quikrete so I got this one

Did you put them in fresh water? This could possibly help them recover as well.

Yeah I did. My mom was freaking out that they would t survive in totally new water but it wasn't worth it to do the contaminated water

How long will they be ok in the 5g bucket?

I do not know anything about Sakrete Play Sand but from what essjay posted it seems to have issues.

I have been using Quikrete PS for 8 years now, probably 6 or 7 bags by now, and never had an issue. I corresponded with someone at the Quikrete office and he explained how they process their play sand so it is safe (knowing that kids will swallow it and get it in their eyes, etc) and would be fine in an aquarium or with pets needing sand.

Thank you. I smelled the sand it in smells like cheap jewelry, a sort of copper or nickel smell. Could that have caused the issue?

Just like my mom ;)

They'll be fine crammed out there. Just put in there an airstone and if you can, put also their filter in there but first just clean it.
My fish survived being crammed in very small vases until I drained and washed and filled the tank back.

I have to start my whole cycle over again :( at least I only have 11 small little fish in there and will have some live plants so it shouldn't spike the ammonia too bad
