Looks like you are getting plenty of advice and I do not want to add to any confusion so I will just say good luck and I hope things work out well.

That is good to hear. I just bought what little Indian almond leaves the LFS had and was told it would be awhile before they restocked them. I was going to give it a try in my tetras tank, thanks for the info about oak leaves having the same results. That makes me feel better on having to use them.I ran out of alder cones this round and dont have meth blue or Indian almond leaves atm, so I used oak leaves this time and had same results as my usual methods too.
I didn't see this when I searched, thank you so much!! You've been a total lifesaverCorydoras Egg Photos
many questions about cory eggs if they're fertile or infertile or covered in fungus... So i snapped some photos to help others see the difference. This is 24 hours after the eggs have been laid. This is the earliest you can tell if the eggs are fertile or not. Notice the eggs are 2 different...www.fishforums.net
Ive posted this before for egg photo reference

I'm worried my eyesight just isn't good enough, lol. I'm way behind on my eye appointment and need new glasses. No worries! It's always good to have references
The Range and Pets At Home do 13L, 15L and 19L or similar tanks for under £20 iirc. Small enough to fit on ikea billy bookshelves comfortably. Cheap filters inc though I believe one doesn’t have a built in light.Just been reading @NCaquatics advice about cory fry (she breeds cories, has raised so many fry) and think they need to be a smaller container when they first hatch, they're not very co-ordinated when they first hatch apparently, they might have a hard time finding food in a 12.5 gallon tank. Which is also full of guppy fry right now too... yikes. And they need almost complete daily water changes, my sand is dark, I'd never see the fry if they were roaming the whole tank.
Looking into rigging an old ice cream tub for the eggs now, since NC suggested that for when they're tiny. Also whether I need to order baby brine shrimp, never cultured live food before either.
I thought these guys were too young to spawn! They're not as big as the two adults I got them to go with. But apparently, they're big enough...!
The eggs might not even be fertile. Too early to tell.
I need NC to hold my hand and calm me down!
I've just sorted through them, my eyesight really isn't great! Luckily, my mother had a magnifying glass. had to put a tank light over it and sort through them with a magnifying glass and a syringe. My new eggs are still pretty white . Not holding out much hope for them ....hows yours adorabelle ?
Mine do look like some of yours . Maybe theres hope yet . time will tell . I only found 17 .best of luck with yours and keep us updated .I'd love to have to baby Cory's but wasn't preparedI've just sorted through them, my eyesight really isn't great! Had a lot that I think are infertile, some I'm not sure so I've left with them, and had to remove a lot that were fungused But there were a fair amount of darker ones that looked okay, one that looked really quite dark too.
Pre-sorting, can see some with fungus in the photo:

@NCaquatics , what about when a bunch are stuck together, but one has fungus? Should I have tried to separate out the eggs that were all stuck together a bit more when I first took them off the tank walls?
'cos I had this little bunch, and one egg that looked good to me was stuck to the egg with fungus

I got some away from it, but one that looked good was too damaged by the time I managed to separate it from the fungus egg... Any suggestions for unsticking them? Whether when they're first laid, or in a situation like this?
