Help! My cherry barb is sick!

I'm not sure it was a parasite though. Would that kill her so quickly?
I can add some salt today.

No, parasite wont kill fish quickly, if you're not sure then just put her in a qt tank with epsom salt.

Unfortunately, she passed away on Tuesday, so I can't help her anymore. She died so quickly, I don't think I could have done anything for her anyway. I'm mostly worried about my other fish now. I don't want them to get whatever she had. I've been keeping a close eye on them though, and they all seem fine. My honey gourami built a bubble nest this morning.
