Im looking to add some more fishes later on today, currently i have 1x clown loach, 1x gourami, 1x plec, also have 2x oscars and a blue lobster but theyre in different tanks.

what do you suggest? i like colourful fishes and odd/active mixes so your help is needed :hyper:

Rainbows, lovely colours, very active, nice additions to any tank :)

i really like these how would these be in my tank? anyone know what their actual name is or what theyre known as? comes up on google as malawi cichlids

If it is malawi (and I dont know about Malawi) then it is not advisable to mix them with your current fish, as they aggressive and should be in a malawi species set up only.

Put the pic up in the African Cichlid section for confirmation.

I would have thought that Clown Loach prefer company of there own kind, so more clowns!! also more Gourami, maybe even 2 minumum...Rainbows for the rest!!

That pic above looks like a frontosa..

Get some dwarf cichlids.. maybe german or bolivian ram. i want some rams! :'(

The prob with adding more clowns is the size of tank they require, whilst they do prefer company, I wouldnt add anymore to that size tank.

it's not very clear from this what you have in the 200l tank already, can you please clarify, we can't really offer any constructive advice on stocking without knowing exactly what is in there.

Are you looking for more unusual fish? if not, then could you add mid water shoals of neons, cherry and golden barbs ect? that would add a splash of colour

or a zebra plec  might need abit of spare cash for that one though

what sort of plec and what sort of gourami?

the clown will outgrow your tank and needs to be kept in a group, you mentioned before that you have oscars so i assume you have a nice big tank for them, you may be best getting a few more clowns and putting them all into the larger oscar tank, if needs be you can grow them on in the 200l tank until they're big enough to not get eaten by the oscars
