what sort of plec and what sort of gourami?

the clown will outgrow your tank and needs to be kept in a group, you mentioned before that you have oscars so i assume you have a nice big tank for them, you may be best getting a few more clowns and putting them all into the larger oscar tank, if needs be you can grow them on in the 200l tank until they're big enough to not get eaten by the oscars

the plec is quite small roughly 5cm, its dark brown with spots not sure of the proper name for it. the gourami is a pearl blue one :)

i really like these how would these be in my tank? anyone know what their actual name is or what theyre known as? comes up on google as malawi cichlids

I'm pretty sure thats a pseudotropheus zebra, and as stated is not suitable for your tank,

I would find out the gender of your gourami and introduce 2 more so you have a trio of 1M/2F
then I would also purchase 2 more clowns, which can grow out here before moving to the oscar tank once they are large enough

then you could decide to go for livebearers, i.e. platy, Swordtails or shoals of Tetras like red-eys or black neons and then to finish maybe a pair of Blue Rams or Kribensis

I paid £8 for the plec and yes i got it from a local aquarist. its really nice, the pattern is nice and sharp and looks great when hes working his way around the tank and sometimes glued to the screen. I went to another shop today who have some lovely looking green/ish colour plecs in too, for like £7
