another thing you could try if you have your tank in a cabinet.
If you have a the pump sitting on the cabinet like mine was, you could suspend the pump in the air from a hook, this cuts all the vibration out.

that happened to my brother's tank his name is conman and he is on this fourm
email him and he will tell you
we had to take all of his fish out and put them in my tank ( whitch overloaded it)and then his fish got atached to mine so we couldn't seperate them
