Help me out plz! VOTE!!

The recent surrendering of my Pleco to my LFS has gotton me thinking about the life I had given him. I gave him up so that someday he could have a bigger tank, and some pals. I never fed mine, but he still grew like crazy.

i dont feed mine and he does great

I don't feed mine as a rule, he grazes on algea and left over food. Once in a while, as a treat, I'll drop some algea wafers down and he gobbles them right up.

I would say feed them algae wafers every few days, and fresh vegetables once or twice a week. When I kept a Pleco it was just the algae wafers but I currently don't have any though I'm planning on a Butterfly once my LFS hears back from their supplier on the price and if they can get me one.

I give mine an algae wafer once a week, and a chunk of cucumber every now and again.... he loves that.

Other than that he feeds on the leftovers (which there isnt much, if any) and algae!

They really do appreciate quality food every now and again, as any catfish does.... but i know alot of ppl who dont bother and they do just fine!

Mine eat any flake food that goes past them and I give them some cucumber 2-3 times a week. They eat all my algae too.

I couldn't vote really because I feed mine all sorts of things....

Algae wafers......shrimp pellets......tubifex (which he doesn't even eat) cucumber...peas....lettuce......flake food........

AND of course he eats massive amounts of algae!!!

I drop in an algae wafer every 3 days or so... but i have a sneaking suspicion that Wally doesn't get any of it... The other night I turned on a light in the room after shuttind down the tank for the nite and saw that the mollies and platies were having a huge party right where had dropped in the wafer.... what piggies!!!!
