The last picture is accurate however mine has 3 dark spots on it

cheers for the help

they look like malawis to me, i dont know alot about cichlids but im pretty sure.

I would say definately Malawi's also. Without a pic of your specific cichlid, it would be hard to nail down a species since there are so many available to the hobbyist from Lake Malawi. But you can look up their general care and specs on this forum/web quite easily, for they are all somewhat similar. If you're looking to breed or want size info, a pic of yours would be helpful.

i think the yellow is a lab...the other and the blue Pseudotropheus socolofi

but wait for ferris he is the king of identifying fish...also can u get a clearer picture of the blue...

first pic is a cyrtocara moorii also called a dolpin its one of the haplochromis group

second im not sur of but the shape looks like a hap

third not sure again maybe a nimbochromis livingstonii which is another hap

Not great but i hope it helps a bit

The other 2 pictures you posted at the top are indeed a yellow lab and a Pseudotropheus socolofi these are both members of the mbuna group.

1st powder blue - pseudotropheus socolofi
2nd yellow lab - labidochromis caeruleus
3rd i dont think its a livingstoni - pattern looks different - there is one quite similar - same colours but different pattern, cant remember the name for the life of me though!!!

id say the first is the moori.the second looks like a socolofi or a esthrae(red zebra) id say the third is a venustus for sure

The 1st looks to be a Moori - could do with a brighter pic, definitely not Sococlofi though

The 2nd - i'm not sure as the colour is all washed out in the pic. It's not a yellow lab.

The 3rd is either a Polystigma or Livingstoni - could do with a better pic to be sure but i'd go with Livingstoni

hey cheers again, the green one is definatly Nimbochromis venustus

you asked for a clearer picture of the blue one:

hope this helps :)
