Help,i Accidently May Have Ingested Some Water From My Snail Tank

Have you noticed that you're walking really slowly, and have developed a craving for eating lettuce at night??

If yes, then I'd be a bit concerned  .

Otherwise, don't worry

:D

I think it should be considered a right of passage or something! It's happened to me often, well, at least I get it in my mouth. Thank goodness for listerene!!!!

You'll be ok, congrats! :)

Salmonella or tapeworms never hurt anybody! =) tape worms are quite fascinating if you think about it, you would never believe how fast they can grow to a few feet. I am not trying to scare you at all ;).

no need to suck on the end of the syphon. what I do is hold the syphon under the tap and fill it up, once it is filled I put my thumb over one end (always the end I plan to put in the bucket) and hold the other end higher. then I walk over to the tank and place the open ended tube into the tank and release my thumb over the bucket and there you go!!!!

LOL. You will be fine, Swallowing tank water has never bothered me. My dad gets angry though when I dump it down the sink  . So I do water changes when hes not around. In my planted tank my water actually gets better through the week.

Over the years I must have swollowed gallons of the stuff and some tanks were non too clean I can tell you.
Still living (I think) LOL
Dont worry, wash it down with a nice glass of milk.

Regards
BigC

Take a look on Ebay - you can pick up a gravel cleaner /syphon for next to nothing. I got mine on there - you put one end in the tank (which has a little guard on it so you dont suck up any fish) and the other end in a bucket, then you just squeeze the plastic bulb and off you go - no more fish cocktails!!

I drunk a glass worths when i was pissed a few months back.

Tasted a bit funny but i'm still here......

I bought a battery operated gravel cleaner so I did'nt need to get a mouthful of tank water.
