My Dwarf gourami was doing all fine today. Then I saw him sitting on the sponge filter, gasping for breath? The other Fish are doing fine. The Tank is a 30 gallon and has lots of air ( sponge filter, air stone and filter ).

Pictures and video of the fish?
Ammonia nitrite and nitrate?

Have you added anything new to the tank?

Nothing new, I don't have any test unfortunately. I will send pictures soon as I can (Not to soon).

now he is under

No, gouramies as well bettas are all labirynth fish, they have an organ called 'labirynth' and bettafix, melafix will get into the labirynth and end up harming the fish seriously and may end up in suffocating the fish as well.
ok thanks I thought it was the oil that killed from melafix, I heard that betta fix does not have the oil. But to be on the safe side I will listen to you.
